Russian President Vladimir Putin, running for a new six-year term in an election that his opponents say is a parody of democracy, said on Tuesday that past U.S. elections had been rigged by postal voting.
“In the United States, previous elections were falsified through postal voting … they bought ballots for $10, filled them out, and threw them into mailboxes without any supervision from observers, and that’s it,” Putin said, without providing evidence.
That line only works when the person isn’t lying.
Well there were several proven incidents of election interferance last election.
Which ones are in any way similar to what Putin is talking about?
Putin isn’t talking about insurrection or trying to get election officials to override the popular vote. He is making shit up about voter fraud that has already been disproven multiple times since 2020 in an attempt to support Trump’s lies about a ‘stolen election’.
oh I did not say it was like what putin was talking about. What he talks about is bullshit but he knows there was interferance.
