Keeping up with my little chartreuse theme, here is my all-time favorite equal-parts cocktail.

  • 1oz London dry gin
  • 1oz green chartreuse
  • 1oz maraschino liqueur
  • 1oz lime juice

Seriously, so good! Tart, complex, refreshing; it really has it all.

This is my wife’s favorite cocktail.(Has been for years now)

As an aside. What’s a decent alternative to green chartreuse, since it’s impossible to find?

My favorite equal part cocktail is definitely the paper plane, a variant. Bourbon, Aperol, Amaro Nonino, Line juice.

So that’s 1oz lime juice in addition to the lime wedge there? Your list doesn’t mention the wedge. Do you typically squeeze it before drinking?

Good call out, I should have mentioned the garnish; I decorate with that thinly sliced lime round, just because I think it’s cute! It’s not big enough to squeeze or really change the acidity of the drink, it’s just cut super thin so it floats on top.
