The legislature HATES the ballot initiative process. They’ve tried and failed to kill it several times.

Yes actually. I just found out this morning that the state also won’t be counting the votes from the medical marijuana expansion issue (even though it did make it on the ballot) because of Supreme Court/ Huckabee nepo baby fuckery. Makes me furious.
I remember reading about that. It makes me sad that often times we’re are not even pretending anymore.
