Because before the numbers weren’t really part of your username, they didn’t show up in chat etc and you only really used them when trying to find a specific user. But now they will actually be part of your username and show up everywhere. You also don’t really get a choice, you’re either the first person to want your username or you’re forced to include numbers
I still don’t understand why people are so mad at this.
Before you were forced to have numbers in your name and now you get a choice, the numbers aren’t forced on you.
