Solar panels on window sills and balconies can supply more power than you would think.

Although slightly off-topic, I decided to post this since it applies to balcony gardens and indoor small-scale gardens alike.

    Well – he writes his landlord installed solar hot water and he uses “solar heat and thermal underware” for warmth.

    So his window sill solar panel installation does not get him off the grid, but a good step further away.

    In Spain. Might be more difficult further north.
