    It was finally a fun foundation for them to build on. The expansion was well received, and beat their sales targets.

    And they abandoned it. I don’t understand.

        They could have built on the amazing sandbox they created for the next decade or more. There’s no reason it needed to be “finished” – it’s an open world game set in an amazing universe that has tons of room to expand and deepen.

          Do you want call of duty? Because that’s how you get call of duty.

          Meh, better to start working on something new. They’ve made a genuinely brilliant game, no need to keep picking away at it like other studios do trying to squeeze everything out of it.

          Sure, Friends made more money than Fawlty Towers, but one of them is genuinely art 😁
