Like Ayn Rand, Anton LaVey has some good ideas, as long as you ignore most of what he actually did, and a ton of what he said. At it’s core, Satanism is supposed to be about personal liberty, as is positivism. But in practice, that’s not how either Rand or LaVey treated it.
I’m a Satanist, and I just ignore the shit that LaVey says that’s dumb. I also ignore most of what TST says these days, ever since Greaves went full-fascist and threw out half of the ministers.
