The real power move would be to, as a newly protected official presidential act, take Trump out and trigger the need for another election.

All it would take is a strategically deployed covfefe hamberder.

My understanding is the VP elect has no power until after inauguration, but if that’s not the case, just include the VP elect and Speaker as line items on the order.

Wouldn’t be too much extra effort to deploy a tactical sofa and bible.

I’m not entirely sure what you actually mean by this, but the image just popped into my brain of trump immediately bursting into flames on contact with the bible, and Vance being unable to control his urge to fuck a couch for the next 3 months

The bible would be for Speaker Johnson, and there’s probably a better vector available for him, but your visualisation can equally be considered canon.

Why do people continually push the idea that a democrats official acts are protected?

      They are not.

The Supreme Court decides what an “official act” is, and they most certainly will not decide a democratic president acts as “official.”

Actually, you know what? This is a great example as to why america is headed the way it is.

People are far too stupid to understand the politics they indulge in.

        1. I’m not American.
        2. None of this is serious, and anyone mistaking it as such should be summarily ignored and ridiculed.

Phew! And for a second I thought America’s fall into Fascism was an actual problem. /s

The American population, actively and resoundingly choosing fascism, should exclusively be understood that they don’t want to be taken seriously by others.

We can only legitimately begin reevaluating this position once they cease capitulating to fear, hate, and wilful ignorance.

Rich of you to call people stupid when your vision of what could be done with impunity is so myopic.
