And to make this even more ridiculous than it already is, they’re calling this board the “warrior board”.

If Donald Trump approves the order, it could fast-track the removal of generals and admirals found to be “lacking in requisite leadership qualities,” … But it could also create a chilling effect on top military officers, given the president-elect’s past vow to fire “woke generals,” referring to officers seen as promoting diversity in the ranks at the expense of military readiness.

As commander in chief, Trump can fire any officer at will, but an outside board whose members he appoints would bypass the Pentagon’s regular promotion system, signaling across the military that he intends to purge a number of generals and admirals.

But some former officials believe the potential Trump administration is looking to politicize the military. “Do they start wearing MAGA hats in formation to signal who’s where?” asked one former senior Pentagon official. “The potential for this to go wrong is infinite.

    Emphases mine.

This always ends in a yes-men military filled with unskilled ass-kissers.

People will optimize for the grading system.

Interestingly, the damage done to the US military this way by itself makes all of Russia’s investments in Trump worthwhile. Incredible bang for the buck - far more than they’d get investing in their own military.

Never thought I’d see the end of US military hegemony in my lifetime. But this makes it that much more likely.

The last shred of hope I have is that all the people that are being picked for various federal roles are so incompetent that they can’t even crime properly.

Thats the hope. Trump gets side tracked chasing the news cycle and golfing while his incompetent lackeys smear shit on the walls. A couple years later he chokes on a hamberder, Vance pushes through some last minute tax breaks to pay off his backers and leaves office in 2028.

Well, give that hope up. That was what he did first go round. They’re been plotting for 4+ years on how to do it right this time.

Steve Bannon was just talking about door-to-door thugs to enforce illegal removal. They’re already plotting concentration camps on the border.

They have their shit together this time. Remember Hitler’s failed Beer Hall Putsch? Same deal.

    Listen, guys. It’s bad. Yes.

Please if you’re freaking out, watch this.

If you don’t know this guy, he’s an OG Security guy, very frequent speaker at Black Hat and DEF CON. Brilliant guy in many ways.

    The tl;dw:

Government is a lumbering giant that is as hard to change negatively as it is to change positively. That’s not to say things are a-okay. They’re not. But there are solutions to every problem, and historically, love wins.

If you go through the proper channels? Absolutely. If you have babysitters watching him and putting restrictions on what he can do like his last term? Absolutely. When his administration’s babysitters called him out and left the field. Telling people not to elect him again. And now he’s just surrounding himself with Craven yes men. And is going to go outside of normal procedure. To put more Yes Men in place. You can’t count on the lumbering giant anymore.
