1488 (sometimes 14/88 or just 88) is a Neo-Nazi dogwhistoe to identify other Nazis. The “14” refers to the “14 Words” phrase “We must secure the existence of our people and a future for white children.” The “88” part eferences the letters “HH” (H is the eight letter of the alphabet). 88=HH=“Heil Hitler.”
Anon is only sharing this because the number is a Nazi dog whistle.
The whole point of the 4chan post is to share their approval of Nazis, which you’re now sharing too.

No well adjusted person will see this post and become a Nazi, but plenty of normal people can see the humor in the absurdity of this post.
