Deny!
android app: sorry this app cannot function without access to your contacts and location.
Then disable it if it cannot be uninstalled and install an alternative.
Real talk, this screenshot is probably for an application intended for hiding communications with another partner from your spouse. When I worked in support for a phone manufacturer I encountered it once while educating a customer about excessive app permissions. I pointed out “for example this calculator app has permission to make and receive calls. A calculator app should never have permissions like that” and he sheepishly explained what the app was and that in this case it actually should. Points for honesty I guess?
Nah it’s practical… it’s for convenience… you know when you ask a girl for her number and she answers it with
(123×4567×8910)−(423×5)+(9876×54321)−6789
So in the event of that situation once you solve it, you want to call it right away!
Does that happen regularly to you? Because that’s not normal.
What do they do for you, scavenger hunts? Literary mysteries? Maybe the old it’s burried at the bottom of a lake challenge?
Usually they just give me their number, or sometimes they just don’t. I’ve never had to jump through hoops of fire, or tame a grizzly bear, or develop a new mathematical theorem to prove I’m worth a shot. “Can I have your number?” should just be a yes or no question.
all the time, but the result just calls a pizza delivery chain.
From my experience that is fairly normal
