"Trump has given tacit approval to Israeli actions since the ceasefire came into effect on January 19. More than 90 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza by Israeli attacks. Israel has also violated the ceasefire by obstructing the delivery of heavy machinery to start clearing away rubble; preventing the delivery of mobile homes and tents to temporarily shelter the people of Gaza, especially in the almost totally destroyed north; delaying the release of hundreds of Palestinian prisoners; and now by refusing to leave the Philadelphi Corridor.
All of this has taken place without comment from Washington. Trump has gotten what he most wanted in the short term, a ceasefire and more hostages freed. He may well see all the remaining Israeli hostages returned home, and that will be his victory. "
If it was up to the Israeli government they would be flattening Gaza twice over again. But something is still holding them back. Possibly the Arab league pressuring Trump with that sweet oil money?
So the usual plan, then.
So they inherited democrat policy on the issue.
What happened to Trump Gaza? Just another stunt I see. Sick of this reality TV show. I want boring politics and to help my fellow countrymen.
Wasn’t even a stunt. It was just callous, demented, and sick.
I hope Netanyahu has to answer to his actions in the near future.
if biden doesnt have to, then neither will netanyahu.
Do you actually think Biden wanted to support this evil? Unfortunately, having a western friendly base in the Middle East takes priority over values and pride. Israel got an answer to, how far can they go?’ and it’s all the way.
“If Israel didn’t exist, we would have to create it.” -guess whom
“Biden would never do that! He’s my parasocial friend!”
Master class in genocide apology: Biden didn’t want do it, aside from the reasons that he did.
Of course lifelong Zionist Joe Biden wanted to support it. There was no reason for him to not use his leverage if he did not. Plenty of other American presidents have stopped Israel in the past when they went full genocide mode.
One is definitely more guilty than the other.
In the sense that the Nazi in charge of operating the gas chamber was more guilty than the Nazi who refills the gas between use, I suppose.
one successfully fooled western world via duplicity while the other was candid the entire time, i’m not so sure if one was worse that the other; but does it matter since neither will answer for their actions?
One was definitely much worse than the other.
You’re splitting hairs about genociders
BuT aT lEaSt DeMoCrAtS wErE TaUgHt A lEsSoN!!
Are you upset this is a Coca Cola flavored genocide, not a Pepsi flavored genocide?
Are you working towards passing electoral reform in your state? You should if you support democracy. Because democracy is not “vote for my preference or else”.

The Democrats also had no plan for Gaza other than supporting Israel’s perpetual war
to be fair, it’d be fucked up if they did have a plan: it’s not their country, and they kept saying “2 state solution”, so their plan was to sit down with israel and palestinians and hammer out a mutually agreeable situation… anything more would just be making choices without consulting palestinians and that never works out for anyone
I mean, they were never actually serious about a two state solution, they never seriously planned to to “sit down with israel and palestinians and hammer out a mutually agreeable situation.” If you look at their actual actions it’s clear they have the exact same plan as the Trump admin.
they’re controlled opposition. they never learn sadly, but at least there was a ceasefire and some aid got in
