Am I the only person who heard this in the voice of the character in the pfp?

The cost is less from the design and more from the safety regulations. Best case scenario the state just starts making nuclear power plants, it’s just not a good idea to mix profit incentive with nuclear.
Yeah, they had shifted for a Trademark strategy a few years before it happened. It was pretty clear they weren’t interested in making it happen again, or had finally got pushback from the folks they donated to about it, or something. And if Disney decided to drop it, I don’t think WB, with less than half the cash, will decide to try it.
Pretty hard to detect. But… probably easier than finding the petunias I guess.
Pineapple is so metal, fucking fruit that tries to eat you back.
It depends on the story. Some genies were evil and imprisoned to stop dicking around, and would screw over anyone who they offered wishes to. Some were nice and imprisoned by nefarious folks to extort wishes from them. These ones would usually monkey paw assholes but not kind folks.
It’s value is still great though because it costs nothing. Every time you draw it you may as well have just drew 3 cards, for absolutely nothing.
He was my fave until Capaldi. It’s hard for me to rate them against each other, but they’re both head and shoulders above the rest.
Exactly, it was (very relatively) cheap and quick. And they figured when, not if, it breaks, it will be again quick to repair. And it is interesting tech that could be useful down the line that they may figure is worth the cost in training alone.
Seems like it, they are announcing that the wife is single to the ladies after all.
Remake it from the ground up instead of using the busted Gearbox port, and I may be interested.
IIRC, 195 was an apartment number or something and some roommates made /r/195 and to shitpost in, which inexplicably became super popular. Eventually the sub got overrun by some trolls or something, so there was an exodus to /r/196.
The hippocratic oath, in this case. Medicine is all about risk management, the worse the “disease,” the more tolerant we are of side effects for the cure. Pregnancy and birth are still pretty traumatic events that, while much safer than they used to be, are still dangerous. Female BC just has to be less risky than that. Male BC on the other hand, has to be as low the risk for a man impregnating a woman, which is to say, almost zero. Pretty much any negative side effect is worse than that, so it’s very difficult to pass. I would gladly take one with comparable side effects to female BC, but sometimes unflinching ethics are inconvenient. Better than the alternative, but still.
That’s true, but it definitely isn’t the whole picture. A group of people trained and equipped to deal with attackers can face more of them and have fewer deaths than another group of people who are regularly around violence without the same tools for defense. That’s not to defend their narrative, and I wouldn’t be surprised of bartenders were under higher threat, but that stat alone is not enough to show that it is true.
More like a life of alcoholism seems like. Did he lie to his doc in the doc about his alcohol consumption after they told him his liver was in bad shape?
For the new game, on some difficulties it is rigged. But only ever in the player’s favor.
Just vague memories from a random on the web. But IIRC, they were not welcome in part because of corruption of the previous leader’s administration, and one of the first things Zalensky did was crack down on that.
