Very miserable weather even for the uk and sales where all shit after xmas so not really suprising.
Opera was originally art for the masses. I get the thing about everyone thinking its elitest but i was brought up by 2 generations of working class people who loved opera and classical music. Worked at the Derby Playhouse, its just elitist because its in movies and stuff a lot
You can say exactly the same about any music
Classical music is like any music, some of it is uplifting and beautiful and some doesnt do it for me, maybe you should try it though and see for yourself
Isnt proton a trump supporter via donations ?
I feel sorry for offshore collegues in a third party we use, the ydeal with terrible working conditions, huge commutes, very noisy offices, and yeah long working hours. Working from home was great for them imo and now rescinded so we have to try and hear them over all their shouty collegues
I am genuinely shocked if we got something we didnt expect, that just means half our diplomats and politicians dont watch the news
We tried this every year up until 1963 and it didnt work
Should have hit it with a car
This sort of thing is going to create generational hate for america around the world in places that are former allies, even assuming the retards ever leave office
Yeah pretty much but weaning off reddit is good
No he knows just a little how ukrainian parents feel every day
Consider brexit, an idea so dumb in every way every way, and yet it happened. Many journalists pointed out how russian influence and social media formed peoples votes, how it brought out the worst side in many of my countrymen, how many regretted it almost immediately. Turns out its really easy to get stupid people to hate things.
One of my favourite books, sure the water divining bit is a bit wierd, rest of the book is great, i liked the characters, its of its age since nuclear war was an immense threat when it was published. At the time it was a fantastic first contact novel and many things it mentions turn up in other books later. The bit about our future selves being incomprehensible was the point.
Fever tree is from the UK
We paid a tiny bit more on a german train for dinner, fresh fish iirc and it was delicious, served by a waiter, god the railways in the uk are shit.
