  • Nah, there is always more Intel to be gained. We’ve seen how Russia fares against those weapon systems and now it’s a question of how will they change their strategy? If the US makes a prediction about new Russian doctrine, will the US assessment be accurate or does the US intelligence apparatus need to rethink it’s analysis procedure. In a conflict heavy with drone usage, what can we learn about their use and more importantly, countermeasures, both on the adversarial side and blue side.

Anyway my point is that there is always more to learn from your opponent.

  • I kinda wish the article has expanded on what he said, if anything. Does he still think they are well made games even if he doesn’t like the direction?

Like, I don’t like the new Zelda games, I don’t think they have stayed true to the original Zelda (not you Zelda II) games. That said, I cannot deny that a lot of care and polish went into them, I just don’t like the direction.

Sure, the new God of War games are not the original avatar-of-rage Kratos but they are still exceptional games.

Zelda BotW and TotK are not fun. The stamina system is pointless and the weapon durability is frustrating. On top of that, the world’s are just sooo empty. There’s really nothing in them. Oh look, an interesting ruin… it’s another repetitive shrine. Oh, that geological formation is really unique aaannnddd it’s another fucking korok seed. That’s all you ever got for exploring. Shrines and korok seeds.

I did like slapping random shit onto my weapons in tears of the kingdom though. All in all to me the games are fine but not really Zelda games.

  • I never understood the arguments people use surrounding daylight savings. The health risks, accident risks, any risks surround the actual switch, not really the what time is used. If the clocks were set forward for “summer time” then 3 months later Daylight savings was abolished and no one changes their clocks anymore (as you said, permanent summer time) there would be no ill effects from it cause everyone was already used to the time change.

I want to get rid of daylight savings. I don’t care whether it’s standard time that use used or daylight savings time that is used as long as the switchover stops happening.
