  • About Rafa?
    Sure: Yahoo, Reuters, Asharq Al-Awsat

    Quote from Reuters:

The Israeli military said the strike against Deif also targeted Rafa Salama, the commander of Hamas’ Khan Younis Brigade, describing them as two of the masterminds of the Oct. 7 attack on southern Israel that triggered the nine-month war in Gaza

About the pictures, this article shows them.
Reuters also mentioned them, but it’s written they haven’t verified them yet.

I should’ve clarified. They aren’t currently using uniforms. As in, in the fighting since the 7th of October. They justify it themselves in interviews and you can see it in videos of theirs.

And that isn’t the IDF, it’s the Israeli police’s counter-terrorism unit.

  • Deif is right after Sinwar in the chain of command in Gaza.
Rafa Salama, the commander of the Khan Younis Brigade, was also targeted in that strike.
The attack was on a fenced Hamas compound. I’ve seen they already published satellite pictures from before and after the strike.

And so far I haven’t seen reports that distinguish between combatants and civilians. Either way Hamas combatants usually don’t wear uniforms. You can see it in the videos they publish.

  • So Palestinians are Hamas?
Why is Iran not helping Fatah?
Their support of Hamas is on ideological grounds. Israel is holy waqf land that belongs to Muslims and should be cleansed from Jews.

Even when Egypt had sovereignty over Gaza they made sure to prevent Palestinians from going to Egypt.

Tunnels from Lebanon… to Gaza…? Where’d you read that?
Hezbollah begun bombing Israel in support of Hamas. They’re also funded by Iran (much more than Hamas though).
Meanwhile Palestinians live in camps in Lebanon. Some of those walled and surrounded by watchtowers.
They have less rights there than anyone else (including refugees and migrant workers), despite living there for 3 generations at this point.

Turkey under Erdogan has been mostly hosting Hamas leaders while bombing Kurds in Syria.

I don’t think much needs to be said about Assad.

The only country in the area which actually helped Palestinians was Jordan. Although that also changed for a while after Black September.

Most of UNRWA’s funding over the years has come from the EU and USA.

  • Peer review isn’t perfect, but it’s supposed to filter out papers with obvious and major flaws.
And usually scientific journals which are more highly regarded, are supposed to be more strict in their peer review process than others. Which is how they become highly regarded in the first place.

The hydroxychloroquine paper for example had major flaws in the design of the analysis. There wasn’t even a need for an expert in order to discover that, and you’re supposed to have experts doing the peer review process in such a highly regarded journal.

  • How you managed to draw this conclusion from your previous statement, is a mystery to me.

A state that is currently glorifying Nazi collaborators will automatically be dismissed as hostile to Jews and to Israel. Any action of theirs in related matters is therefore irrelevant.
Unless they have a different goal. Like getting closer to states like Iran.

And since you mentioned Nazi collaborations, I’ll say the following. I noticed that the sources you provided the one is Zionist and the other Polish, and both collaborated with Nazis for sure.

How is that relevant to news sources?
I was pointing out that Armenia is currently glorifying a Nazi collaborator, building statues of him and calling him a hero. Not in the past.
