I don’t know if OP speaks french or it’s just a funny coincidence, but “pipe” is also slang for blow job.

Yeah I am pretty sure this is the intention of the writers. Showing yourself naked to your subordinate is not “homoerotism”, it’s harassment.
I’ve had the 2× spicy. Honnestly the reason they should be recalled is for their quantity of salt. My mouth was burning more because of that than the spiciness.
Also doing it (just rated my 850th record). When I saw the cover I was really not anticipating this record. On top of that, I am really picky when it comes to latin music.
I started the album and I had so much fun listening to it. I can’t understand how I never heard a single song before, the songs are so catchy and full of energy.
Thanks for clarifying. Totally agree.
It’s easy to point the finger at China when so many products the western world consumes is manufactured there.
SPOILER ALERT Not that big of a twist (let’s say not the 6th sense kind), but the trailer showed the part at the end where the antagonist has his big transformation. And it was half the trailer. The whole movie slowly builds up to that moment, I thought it was a poor choice to show it. It made it look like half the movie was that when it is only the culmination of everything that happened before.
Thanks, corrected it !
Perfect albums that come to mind :
Pink Floyd - Animals
Depeche Mode - Violator
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Dire Straits - Dire Straits
Curtis Mayfield - Superfly
Daft Punk - Discovery
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son of a Sseventh Son
Death - Symbolic
Rush - Moving Pictures
This album is one of the greatest album OAT in my book, like top 5. A perfect album with no dulls, one of the best exemples of what a 10/10 is.
I saw a version of the trailer for Split (2016) that revealed the plot twist. I was glad I already saw the movie, but my parents did not watch it because of that.
Sorry, but I just read “Five Finger Death Punch” and automatically thought “Ahhh there you go…” lol
Because it never is about nationalism, it is about being authoritarian fascists. And being racist.
I am a big fan of black metal so avoiding closeted white supremacists behind some of those bands has become tedious. If I find out that they are neo-nazis without even looking for that info, then I usually stop listening to them, but I am not systematically researching on them. But yes there is one cherry picking I do and it is regarding Burzum because the guy had such a huge impact on the scene that it’s like ignoring Led Zep work (which would not be far fetched of a comparison since it is known that Jimmy Page was kind of a pedo).
But there are some artists that I can’t get over what they did and avoid their art all together. I was a big fan of Kevin Spacey ; Se7en is one of my favourite movies ever. Now I feel sick when I see his face. I was also a big fan of Daughters but I can’t listen to their stuff anymore after learning what their singer did.
Yeah well let’s be honest a lot of toxic masculinity traits are deeply rooted in homophobia and sexism…
Basically, Jon Nödtveidt, the lead guitarist/singer, was convicted for the killing of a gay algerian man. Two years after his release from prison he killed himself in a satanic ritual.
I know what you mean. Personnally I prefer Storm of the Light’s Bane, but I feel less bad about listening to Dissection cause the guy’s dead so not like he gets any money from me lol
I am a huge fan of black metal so often I have to filter out the ones with white supremacists members. But one I can’t help myself going back to is Burzum. What he brought to the atmospherical BM scene is huge and I hate that I love his early records so much…
I mean they were nominated four times at the grammy’s of which they won one, can’t get more recognized by the mainstream than that…
Honnestly I was a little bit disapointed cause when I went to see it to the movie theater, I was in the mood for a scary movie. Like typical horror stuff. There is some “scary” passages, but it’s no It. So don’t expect to be full on frightened or to have big jump scares.
However I think it is a movie worth checking out. The acting is on point, the images are vibrant, overall greatly directed. Obviously the movie is a big metaphor, but I went to see it completely blind and I understood pretty easily what it was all about. I’m kind of surprised by the score on IMDB because it has a 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and I just heard nice things about this movie beforehand. It brought a tear to my eye even though I am not in the same situation as the protagonist.
