One of my family cats is currently at the end of her life due to kidney disease. It really sucks, glad they’re doing something about it. Now if only they could do the same for dogs.

As a Linux main, I don’t think it’s hard, but it’s also still not as good as Windows in some ways I find important. Fractional scaling for instance. I had a different resolutions multimonitor setup, and I definitely had more issues than on Windows. Also, now with two same reso monitors, I still have to switch to Windows to RDP into my work Win machine, because on Linux it’s so blurry due to difference in scaling, it hurts my eyes. Of course, I’m most likely in minority of a minority, but it’s still a thing.
In my case, the only reason they’d fire people is if they refused to work overtime, hah.
I did that when I worked customer support. The only way I could retain the little bit of sanity I had left. But to be honest, we were so understaffed that even if I slipped, they wouldn’t have fired me. There was one guy who was so angry with a customer that he wrote their number down, and then over his break called the customer with his private phone to argue with them. Still didn’t get fired, lol.
Same here, but I still use 3rd party mobile app, because both the site (unless you use old.reddit) and the official mobile app are garbage.
Out-of-the-box it’s set to Wake Bixby, but it can be changed to Power off menu. One of the first things I changed when I got my phone.
Seems like they didn’t set www to redirect to the main site. If you go to https://dripapp.org it works fine.
Not all. Jumping spiders and wolf spiders took all the good eyes and ran away with them.
I’ve been reading so much about how simple it is to lose weight, it’s all about caloric deficit. I’ve also been in Hashimoto’s and hypothyroidism communities long enough to know that’s not always true. It’s probably true for healthy individuals, but with Hashi’s and hypothyroidism, metabolism doesn’t work as well, so you can be in caloric deficit and work out, yet still unable to shed the extra weight.
Right? No matter what I wear, I’ll inevitably start freezing/being cold, especially my feet which I can’t just put extra layers on. Add to that eyes watering intensely in the cold, windy weather, plus runny nose, so can’t wear anything over it for any extended time, lest I bathe my face in snot. No, thank you. Give me summer and a fan.
