Me neither with cars. Kind of wish I was though so I could fit in more.

You more techy than you think if you’re here.
I’m tech literate but I wouldn’t consider myself technical compared to a lot of people here. I struggle with adapting to new concepts. Takes a while to get my head around them.
For instance (no pun intended) when twitter shat the bed and I heard about Mastodon being an alternative. I looked to into it but it seemed a bit overwhelming to figure out.
Fast forward to Reddit shitting the bed and the bits of knowledge learned from Mastodon helped me in converting to Lemmy.
I’m mid 40’s and it’s really frustrating that I can’t figure things out like I could in my teens and 20’s.
Oh My God.
This needs fixing. It’s infuriating at times
One thing that puts me off Liftoff is the dark theme isn’t dark enough for me but I find the Amoled mode too dark.
Yep, infuriating. It just happened with me. Googled something, followed a link to a website. I couldn’t see images on forum lthread there without registering. So I register, that of course takes me to the home page on the forum instead.
But when you eventually poop your in the middle of human a human centipede
I really hope that won’t be the only option. I’ve used Sync for so many years and would buy premium in heart beat (I bought lifetime ultra on Sync for Reddit) but I’m afraid I won’t subscribe with an ongoing payment. I understand it from the devs point of view as far income is concerned but there’s just too many things require subscriptions these days.
Everyone wants a piece of the pie but the pie isn’t big enough
I’m using Connect for Lemmy. Prefer it over Jerboa overall but I’m unable to add more than one account the moment.
Is there an official community for Connect for Lemmy?
I’m trying out Jerboa but it keeps telling me I’m not logged in every time I try to do something.
Anyone else having this issue?
That seems fair. I’m in the camp that is really hesitant to take on another subscription but also understand that this your living and it has to be worthwhile for you.
