Yeah, that’s a strange use of words. I was like “oh, he just had a gun where he wasn’t supposed to,” but no, he was in the act of performing terrorism.
I still struggle to read personal computer and not think of any phone, laptop, etc as a PC. Hell, a calculator is a rudementary PC.
If only standups were near as pleasurable as watching a comedy routine. No, Jim, we don’t need to hear your day minute by minute. It isn’t that hard, Jim, just keep it to the same length as everyone else, Jim. (Jim has since been talked to about this)
Thanks for the history, very interesting! I still hate how the term is used today and refuse to use it.
Can confirm it is real, I have it installed right now via revanced, Grayjay, and Firefox extension.
Also, I have a terrible imagination, but that’s OK, as it’s open source and you can see how it’s calculated on their github.
It takes the ration of likes to dislikes from users of the service, and applies that ratio to the total number of likes to estimate the total number of dislikes.
It also archived a lot of video’s dislike counts before the dislike field was removed from the API.
As a user of the extension who knows how it works (no thanks to yourself), take it with whatever sized grain of salt you feel comfortable with.
Is it now called a DWI instead of DUI? That threw me for a loop.
Honestly funnier without the cat, but the lack of joke here is wild.
That doesn’t even make sense. The earliest standups should be is when core hours start.
I still don’t understand how Windows got the PC name. A Mac is also a personal computer…
Also, apple isn’t going to make it work with other OSs any more than they have their other products, not sure why you’d even list that.
Ahh, sweet, my bad. Not sure where I heard that.
Can confirm (via a insignifigant sample size anecdote)
We recently visited Canada, and not a populated part of it. Two lane highways to get everywhere. I think every single person with a Canadian license plate pulled over to let us pass at their earliest convenience when we came up behind them. No long line of cars. They pulled over just to let us pass. It was mind blowing, so fucking pleasant.
The sample size might be insignifigant, but I think I could count on one hand the amount of times that’s happened while driving on two lane highways in America, something I’ve been doing for years. Everyone thinks they’re driving the correct speed and you can fuck off if you think differently.
I’d add to that list. If Siri is 3/4 as capable as shown in the presentation, that’s sick. Android does not have that.
Yeah this joke is older than I can remember and this artist didn’t add anything to it.
Make sure you count those windows backed kiosk things. Also, assuming you’re the techie of the family, no tech support this month.
Yeah that’s a very editorialized version and I hate that it’s the top comment.
Obviously the coffee isn’t going to be 100x better or more unique than a normal espresso. The point of the video was not to “discover” this, and if that’s all you got out of it, you missed the point.
I JUST GOT IT
I see these posts all the time and I never understand what your motivation is or what the comics mean, so maybe this is a complete wooosh on my part, but let me explain.
The comic in the comment I’m replying to comes first. The cat is wearing the bro apron thing and the fish parrot bro. In the comic in the post the fish are saying bra instead of bro. Some woman walked past the tank in a bra I guess
However bras don’t say “BRA” across the chest, so it still doesn’t even make sense in the context of these fish parroting things they see on peoples’ chests.
Edit: I have done research. I now find these posts hilarious. I’m thinking I was definitely a bit wooshed but also am correct about the “joke.”
Are they actually that bad still? My OnePlus Watch 2 lasts multiple days on a charge, and I keep it topped off just by charging while I shower every 1-3 days. I don’t even worry about it on my frequent two night camping trips. I kinda assumed Apple was in the same realm by now.
Battery life, sure, but functionality, nah. Apple is all about appearances, and a black/white screen running at 1fps isn’t a good appearance.
Honestly even I wouldn’t want an e-ink watch when there are other watches out there that get good battery life and have so much more functionality. My OnePlus Watch 2 gets me a few days. I only charge it when I shower and basically never have to worry about battery even on my frequent weekend camping trips.
You should try the pacific northwest. It gets up into the 90s a few days per year. Not really any natural disasters. Floods I suppose, but as long as you don’t buy a house in a flood plain (why do people build there?) you’ll be fine. No snow, if that’s your thing. Just a lot of rain in the fall/spring/winter.
I’m in Spokane currently and really like the climate, though I’m a weirdo who likes overcoming extreme cold and heat (cold more than heat), and I love the snow, driving in it included. I could honestly take colder and longer winters.
