I know, right? I was so happy to find there are a bunch of positive voiced pings you can bind in Deadlock. I can now have my character go “good job” when the team does something well together, or “thanks” when a team-mate intentionally or just coincidentally save my skin, and make sure the other players get to feel appreciated.

This is how I respond when people call me cringe for complimenting my team-mates in games. Even when we lose.

The slide works in all conditions afaik. It’s not gravity fed or something. It’s full of cartridges under presure from the spring, same as any other gun, and rounds are pushed into the receiver one by one. IIRC three dummy rounds are tethered to the end of the spring, which allows the spring to push the last few cartridges into the slide and out of the magazine.

One side of your deskpad may be grippier than the other. I noticed this with my pad when I flipped it once. The keyboard side seems to have become worn and become rough on a visually unnoticeable level, so my mouse now slides way better one end of the pad than the other.

Also, others have suggested teflon replacements for the skates.

You can also get “universal” adhesive glass mouse skates. Once I tried glass skates on a mouse I never wanted to use anything else.

That said I benefit from this most when I use my mouse for gaming. It might be pointless for average use, but the extremely low friction is very comfortable.
