I’ve always liked Ilya Repin. “Reply of the Zaporozhian Cossacks” is my favorite work of his.

Yes, it is as bad as you think. Some of the worst acting and dialogue I’ve ever seen. Kinda fun though.

I’d say its more like they are walking all over their customers.

This movie is absolutely a knockoff of The Warriors (1979) but I actually think I like it more. The main character, Trash is the best androgynous action hero since Ellen Ripley. The violence is great and the themed street gangs are over-the-top.

Makes sense, I tried watching on Tubi, Shudder and an unlicensed source and they all had that jitter. Curse my sensitive eyes!

Does anybody have the DVD of this movie? No matter where I’ve tried to watch it, I get a headache from the weird camera jitter that seems to happen on all versions of it I’ve tried to watch. I’m wondering if that is just the encoding for streaming or from the actual movie. I’ve been dying to finish it, but I just can’t.

Did you think that trailer was bizarre and terribly directed? Well that is literally the beginning of the movie… Yes, they show you a trailer with all the best parts before the title card. I watched this the other night and I have never seen a movie try so hard to fill 90 minutes. Certain scenes go on and on forever. There is a whole lot of heart in this movie, but the filmmakers just didn’t have the talent to pull it off.

It is extremely low-budget but it was funny/entertaining enough for me to watch along with it’s sequel.

Ever wonder what it would be like if Donald Duck was serial killer? Well The New York Ripper is the flick for you! One of the most vile pieces of cinema ever filmed.

The worry is that they’re not staying down there anymore!

I haven’t seen it since it came out, but I’ve remembered it all these years so it must have SOME worth.

This was also directed my Seagal. A real steaming heap of a movie, but pretty damn funny.

This is honestly one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. However, if you have a chance to watch the Last Drive-In Episode with Chris Jericho it was pretty entertaining.

This movie has a hysterical production story. The original movie was called Twisted Souls which was never released due to a creative feud with the Producers and the financial backer. A year later, the backer hired a new director to write and film more scenes which were completely unrelated to the original story. These were merged into what is now known as Spookies.

Also it has farting muck men.
