Oh gotcha, fantasy and science fiction aside, Marxism is always kind of a shitshow IRL. It is just sometimes a better intended shitshow.

Because free and fair elections are determined internally as they always have? Whether elections are free and fair is determined by the state.
America cannot make Cuban elections less free or fair and you would have to fundamentally not understand what “free and fair” elections are to assert otherwise. If Cuban elections are neither free nor fair the culprit would be the Cuban government/Cuban Communist Party.
Cuba seems to only prmit the Cuban Communist Party to exist as a party. Robbing the citizenry the choice of what political path to follow is not the actions of free elections but is oppressive. Why would someone back the oppression of the will of the people?
Star Trek is Marxism in space. Seriously.
It houses a NATO base that would be strategically important should Putin try to expand Russia’s war into Western Europe.
Im not a Marxist by any means but the only one world government I would accept would be Marxist. It might be a horrific shitshow but at least they would try to make a livable society.
And Europe was mired in mercantilist systems. The government gave business permission to exist in many cases.
America was the first to institute capitalism, Europeans cane up with the philosophy but America put it into practice.
No trolling here. Claiming the center has moved requires you to only be focused on Wyropean thought.
This exact form of racism is incredibly common among the left especially those whose political educations are entirely self driven.
Canada and Mexico both live next to the USA and both have freer and more fair elections than the USA so Im not sure your claim even makes sense on the surface.
According to another poster Cuba has non-Marxist candidates who can run. IF Cubans have the ability to completely cast aside the government, regardless of ideology, then they have free elections. If they cannot then they don’t have free elections.
Capitalism was first instituted by the first Liberal nation- the USA. Europe was mostly mercantilist
I agree given the extreme euro-centrism of your claims as well as the fact that they are objectively incorrect it is a waste to continue with you as you know nothing.
Your racism/Euro-centrism is worth addressing.
Your notion of where the modern divide lies is 100% European and won’t hold true when you consider all nations.
Also if you are going to wikipedia for”conservative” you should note the three guys listed at the top argue for different governmental systems. If this is news to you then it’s best to stop here.
We said free and fair which is not the same as free and democratic.
If giving the Cubans the choice to no longer pursue Marxism resulted in them choosing to no longer follow Marxism why should that be stopped? If that was what the population wanted why should the state force them to adhere to an unwanted ideology?
i have news for you the Ayatollah of Iran also a conservative. This is because “conservative” is a position
You’re being incredibly euro-centric with your claims here.
The division of political ideologies into left and right derives from the French Parliament which had the monarchists on the right and the liberals on the left.
Every reference to right and left stems from this so yes in fact Liberalism has always been where the left starts even if liberals are nit leftists because the political left is anti-authoritarian.
The binary has not changed and I promise you any claim ypu make to the contrary is going to be mired in euro-centric beliefs.
They state “In fact, conservatives are a type of liberal” and that’s objectively incorrect.
I have yet to discover any way in which for profit investments in health care provide better results.
Perhaps it us my American education in geography, but isn’t France still part of Europe?
The Gelph-Ghibelline conflict was about secular monarchism vs religious authority. Im not sure I see the point you’re making.
