Ah yes I knew about it, but I’m sure this will be useful to others! Unfortunately I was having trouble with the beta the other week - it caused my button inputs to not be recognised. Tried several things to fix before giving up and returning to stable - which worked flawlessly again. I don’t mind waiting until this feature reaches stable.
Looking forward to this coming to stable
That’s weird, I thought he died in a hot air balloon incident
Cute! Clearly Shovel Knight inspired (or Ducktales I guess) with the sword jumping. Always happy to see more mouse-themed games :3
Admittedly I don’t use the D-pad all that much - does it not register inputs well? I guess it’s pretty important if you’re playing a fighting or retro game that require precise inputs. For the games I’ve played, it hasn’t been an issue.
No the pro controller doesn’t have hall effect sticks, but I’ve not experienced any drift. I did take it apart once to clean the insides however.
I had no end of problems with the joy cons, and have replaced those sticks with hall effect ones. Since doing that I’ve not had any problems, touch wood!
To be fair I’ve had the pro controller for several years and it has held up really well. Really ergonomic and the vibration’s good, plus it has gyro. Perfect for my needs on Switch. I think it was worth what I paid.
The 8Bitdo Pro+ has been great - works really well with my Steam Deck and Switch. Sounds like the Pro 2 is the superior version with hall effect sticks.
The Switch Pro controller has always been good too. And the DualSense is really neat with the haptics and adaptive triggers - expensive, but not that much more than a Pro controller surprisingly.
I love coffee but nowadays I tend to drink tea a lot more. I don’t like the taste of instant coffee, and that’s all I can get at work - so I stick to tea. I also can’t handle caffeine as well as I used to, so I have decaff.
At home I’ve got a nice coffee machine. I buy decaff beans and grind them - it’s all about the taste for me.
I think I may been in a similar situation here? A while back someone posted a screenshot of a twitter post that highlighted how trans people make up a tiny proportion of the population, yet political parties make a disproportionate deal out of them. And I totally agree with the sentiment, but I was interested in how the statistics were worked out. But apparently me asking about that showed that I was trying to distract from the point?
I just wanted to know more really 🤷♂️
Yeah it’s pretty data for sure. Just the conclusion that has been drawn from it is a bit odd! Correlation/causation etc etc
Isn’t this statement kinda backwards though? Surely the big cities developed along that line due to the natural geography (flat land, near bodies of water and with protection from the mountains) and then once trains first came along, it made sense to connect those cities. It’s not that people happen to live within 5km of the trainline, but that the trainline was built there because that’s where people lived.
The S10 is such a good phone! Things like samsung dex and being able to cast to TV are really useful - I’m guessing the later models have these, but I’d hate to lose them either way. I rarely use the headphone jack nowadays but it’s still nice to have. Hopefully I can get a few more years out of my S10.
I used to love the Madness series and that game! There’s a game on Steam by the same devs (at least I think it must be the same devs) - https://store.steampowered.com/app/488860/MADNESS_Project_Nexus/
Tyrannosaurus Parvus
Idk if I see it as insulting personally - more just out of touch
I feel like this was designed by the straightest committee
Follow-up question: As a gay guy, what gay drinks should I be drinking?
Is RE3 remake worth playing? I loved the remake of the second one.
