Well I’m 30 and I have 3, I’m really happy for everyone that doesn’t need and therefore just dont own cars, must be enormous savings per month on top of the lesser impact on the climate.

Well my opinion is that there is no reason for a company to call me unless it’s actually urgent and in my own best interest, at that point it is perfectly fine to call.
Some companies call regardless of the reasons with no care at all about the customer/client/potential customer, all just to make sure to force a response. Just send the damn message instead of disturbing me at work, and If I have any sort interest, opinion, or care what so ever, then I’ll get in touch at my own discretion.
Having customers isn’t a “right” for companies, but they do seem to believe so.

Well, when you allow anybody regardless of papers or not seek asylum as refugee and then refusing to integrate them into understanding our laws, our culture, our language, and our society, bad things as outcome should be the expectes result. We got almost 1.3 million refugees in 10 years, in a country with 10 million inhabitants. Theyre clustered in parts without many native swedes, and many of them hate eachother due to the conflicts in their homeland. Many don’t identify as swedes, they never even got a chance to integrate into our society and most don’t even know for how much longer they’re allowed to stay. (super ineffective agency, some people have lived here for 10 years before they got fully processed).
There’s a reason why people here have started memeing about the names of people convicted of all these incredibly violent crimes, and it’s because it’s very rarely a nordic name. It’s a sad truth that’s grounded in unforgivably poor politics and immigration policies.
The far right party have grown from being a joke to being the 3rd biggest party because of it. The politics of past parties made the swedish far right into what it now is.
Agreed, anybody has the right to be angry, mad, feel disrespected, and protest his actions. What they did instead by rioting and attacking people was to prove the point he was trying to make.
It’s quite simple in my opinion: Be better, PROVE you’re the religion of peace by separating yourself from the radicalism preached by the rich Arab countries and power hungry imams enriching themselves. Prove that you’re compatible with the western world and embrace the fruits of our freedom instead of rioting to have the captivity you escaped from.
While you’re right in one way, it’s not entirely correct and an oversimplification. Sweden, for instance, pays roughly 1 billion sek (100 million euro, or thereabouts) for assistance programs in Afghanistan, of this about 30 million euro is purely humanitarian aid. However, you can’t deny knowing about the widespread corruption within the Arabic countries, where these funds and aids creates a space of available funds that’s channeled into the pockets of the rulers. A famous example is Hamid Karzai and his brother Ahmed Wali Karzai. They sure LOVED the assistance from the western world.
To make things worse, the widespread corruption in certain areas puts the assistance programs in a position where they’re forced to pay bribes to be given access to the people they’re trying to help. This is very common according to transparency.org in their report “mapping the risks of corruption in humanitarian action.”

“The practice of paying bribes at roadblocks was seen by survey respondents as a high and unavoidable risk.”
Aswell as:
“Anderson (1999) summarises the way in which aid can become caught up in conflict: Aid agencies, operating in areas controlled by factions, must often make ‘legitimate’ payments to those in power in the form of taxes and fees for services (import-export licenses, hired guards for protection, loaned use of vehicles and the like). They can use that income to finance the war or to enrich themselves”

I believe any form of burning books regardless of source should be legal. The ramifications of doing it is to get laughed at and have people shaking their heads; the same reaction that was given when bibles and swedish flags were burnt.

You’re also oversimplifying the problems and arguing in bad faith by simply ignoring the viability and reality. You can’t just throw money at a problem and it’ll magically resolve itself. Instead of arguing against one of our safest energy sources you should turn your eyes towards fossile power plants which is genuinely killing our planet as we speak. To end that madness in any sort of reasonable time frame you need a combination of all options.
I also want to add that the production costs for nuclear power I mentioned above, doesn’t count in subsidizes, it’s based on the actual average costs among these 92 reactors without withdrawing government spendings.

Chernobyl happened because of a multitude of reasons that just aren’t capable of happening today in the western world. This is just pure fear-mongering, it’s like saying we need to ban planes because of world trade center, or ban all research on narcotic medications because the opiod epidemic.
A wind farm costs in the range of 32 - 62 dollar per megawatts (Judith Gap/Spion Kop wind farms), compared to the 29 dollars per megawatt for nuclear power (average in USA year 2021).
In USA there are 92 reactors totaling 809 terawatt hours. To compensate for that with wind turbines you would require roughly 33.000 wind turbines all running 24/7 at max capacity with no down-time assuming a rated limit of 3 megawatt. Together those wind turbines would collectively take up 260 square kilometers.
Building them would likely be close to impossible as there isnt any infrastructure to make 33.000 in a timely manner. Since 2005 about 3000 has been built per year, assuming current production that would mean 11 years without producing parts for servicing current turbines to simply just replace the nuclear energy.
Lets make it a little more interesting and compare wind turbines to Browns Ferry nuclear plant. It has 3 reactors producing in total 3600 megawatt, to compensate for just that plant alone it would require 1200 turbines. To make it even more interesting, fossile fuel plants produces in total 2554 terawatt hours, and is the worst energy source we have, and would require roughly 104.000 turbines to offset, or 34 years of wind turbine production. That means the old turbines will have to be replaced before theyre all even fully built assuming the 20-30 year life expectancy.
Are you starting to grasp the problems with wind turbines now? To stop the usage of fossile fuel for powerplants you need other complementary systems. We need to get rid of fossile plants -now- and there’s literally no way wind turbines could ever realistically fill that role alone. You’re barking up the wrong tree.
I’d like to add that both sides of the political spectrum caused their extreme growth. There was a huge storm of dissatisfaction regarding the immigration politics and at one point I recall our government sponsored news channel showing statistics of about 70% of Swedens citizens were asking for reducing it as it was unsustainable. During this time the centrist right leader held a speech about how “this current situation will cost us a LOT of money, but we need to open our hearts” while the left flat out ignored the problems and said we were a “Humanitarian great power” and stated we were getting highly educated doctors and professors.
The only party that spoke against it was the extreme right, and any mention of anti-immgration caused a massive shitstorm by any other political party that refused to touch the subject. Quite obviously when you polarize the country and refuse to listen to your voters, they’ll go to the party that DO.
I’m not defending or showing support for them, I’m just explaining how they’re this big because of the arrogance and ignorance of the other parties. THEY made them big and now they have to work with them.
