Stupid question maybe, but would your backups even be safe? Sure, it was mentioned that you had to enter your sudo password, but let’s say you did that because you are careless, “rm -rf” would wipe all connected and mounted drives as well, so your backups would be gone, wouldn’t they? Or does Timeshift mount and unmount on demand? If so, what would happen if you ran “rm -rf” while a backup is being saved?! It seems to me that a simple “make backups” isn’t enough here.

If I’m not mistaken Tagesschau reported that the organizers planned 10.000 people to attend. Let’s say the 160k is a high estimate I think it’s safe to say there were around 100k people so ten times more than originally planned. It’s a huge win after the past few months and years where most protests in Germany were right wing protests.

I see that you dedicated a paragraph to NTFS. There are quite a lot of people saying there are problems with gaming on Linux using an NTFS drive but I’ve rarely (never?!) seen anyone actually having problems with it. I myself have been dual booting for years and some games are on an NTFS drive shared between Linux and windows for convenience and I never had any issues besides the fact I had to disable fast reboot in Windows.

My current favorites are gamecube games (Tony Hawk Games and 007 Nightfire) and Forza Horizon 5. Played quite a bit of minecraft aswell, but I find it hard to be efficient with a controller.

Aber meinst du, dass die Reichsbürgergruppen in DE so groß sind, dass sie vergleichbar mit Somalia sind? Sind das nicht eher viele “kleine” Gruppen. Selbst wenn da mal eine Gruppe mit 100-200 Leuten dabei ist, das macht doch der Großteil eh nicht lange mit und verzieht sich wieder in seine Doppelhaushälfte am Stadtrand.

Mein ursprünglicher Post war eher als Witz gemeint, aber mich würde es tatsächlich mal interessieren, ob das wirklich zu einem großen Problem werden würde. Es gibt einfach so viele Dinge, die der Sozialstaat für uns übernimmt und ermöglicht. Ich glaube vieles davon wird so als selbstverständlich gesehen, dass die Reichsbürger gar nicht verstehen, was sie alles verlieren würden. So ein bisschen wie der Brexit in noch extremer.

Warum gibt man diesen Spinnern eigentlich nicht einfach was sie wollen? Sollen die ihr Königreich haben. Aber dann Arbeitserlaubnis weg, Anschluss an die Kanalisation weg, Anschluss ans deutsche Stromnetz weg, keine deutsche Polizei, Feuerwehr, Krankenversorgung… die werden dann doch schnell genug merken, dass das bullshit ist und das sie auf die ganzen Annehmlichkeiten des deutschen Staates doch nicht so ganz verzichten wollen. So nach dem Motto “man vermisst etwas erst wenn’s nicht mehr da ist”.

I personally can’t really imagine anything else. Sure, there are melee weapons but controls is hard if you don’t want to go the “click a button and deal damage in a small cone in front of the character” route with them. Imagine trying to come up with a control scheme for a flail. You could control it with one of the analog sticks or the mouse but I don’t think that would be very precise.

Or did you mean you want more games that are like “shooting magic orbs out of your hands”? At the end of the day that would still be guns but with a different “skin”.

This was my main gripe with the API changes. You would have to pay to keep your 3rd party app (even if just a few bucks a month/year) with all the nice features you got used to over the years and still you are effd because you only get a fraction of the posts via your (now paid) app. The blackout won’t change anything. They would never drop the nsfw restriction so even if they reduce the API price you are still effd if you rely on apps or bots that use the API.
