There will be a lot of people facing problems like yours with actual family members living abroad, and others will face issues with sharing with friends abroad or friends that used to change often or paid sharing that changed often.

I am a cynic so I think it is mostly done to hinder paid sharing and sharing with friends and family abroad is collateral damage.

A second use is probably that child protection is now pushed away from Steam and more towards the parents. Auf der anderen Seite haben sich deutsche Politiker jahrelang in Abhängigkeiten begeben, sei es uns abhängig von russischem Gas zu machen oder als Bittsteller in die USA zu reisen und fröhlich alles abzunicken was von dort kam.

Klar können Bewegungen politisch mißbraucht werden, aber in den 70ern und 80ern hat halt auch kein Dialog mit der eigenen Bevölkerung stattgefunden. Wir wurden als dumme Spinner deklariert, waren der Diskussion und der Aufklärung nicht wert, in der Schule wurde noch Gehorsam gegenüber der Obrigkeit gelehrt. Der “mündige Bürger” war einer der immer brav nickt und nicht bei rot über die Ampel fährt. Die Friedensbewegung damals war nicht nur für Abrüstung und Friede Freude Eierkuchen (letzters ein bischen zu viel aus meiner Sicht heute), sie war auch Emanzipation von einer Regierung die ihre eigenen Bürger wie Kleinkinder behandelt hat und immer noch von Altnazis durchsetzt war. Sie war die Keimzelle für die Anti-Atomkraft-Bewegung und pro erneuernabare Energien und Umweltschutz und Tierschutz , hat den Feminismus vorangetrieben und ist praktisch die Geburtsstunde der Vorläufer der Grünen und dann der Partei selbst. Ach ja, Antifa in Deutschland hatte für mich da auch ihren Anfang, mit Demos gegen Altnazis und Stadtrundfahrten mit Holocaustüberlebenden in der Jugendarbeit und kämpfen für Plaketten die an die Ermordung von Juden und die Transporte in die Konzentrationslager erinnern sollten.

Dass man das jetzt gerne alles als ferngesteuert deklarieren möchte ist ja nett, aber ne, so einfach war es nicht. Hat die Bewegung gut gepasst für einige Leute und wurde von der “falschen Seite” gerne befeuert? Ja. Sie war aber auch eine generationsübergreifende, Klassen überspringende Massenbewegung die auf vielen Ebenen in diesem Land etwas ereicht hat. Wir bräuchten das gerade jetzt nochmal und erleben wie schwer es ist das hinzubekommen.

Was für einige meiner Generation jetzt schwer ist, ist sich neu zu orientieren und den Gegebenheiten neu anzupassen. Diese Anpassungsleistung ist mit zunehmendem Alter auch wirklich schwerer, das erlebe ich an mir selber. Man kann aber auch nicht alles auf die Jungen abwälzen, wir alte SäckInnen müssen auch noch mal ran wenn es darum geht unser Land gegen Rechts und ein Land wie die Ukraine gegen einen Überfall zu unterstützen und jemandem wie Putin & Co Grenzen aufzeigen. Was alles notwendig wird wenn auch noch Trump wiedergewählt wird oder der Osten im AfD Sumpf versinkt … oh Mann, ich bin alt und müde, Wirrvogel möchte schlafen. Ich finde ich hätte es verdient einen ruhigen Lebensabend zu haben.

Ich gehöre zu den Leuten die mal gegen Pershings demonstriert haben und die Bundeswehr abschaffen wollten.

Ich habe mit Ja gestimmt und das hat mir weh getan. Wenn mir damals jemand erzählt hätte ich würde mal Waffenlieferungen befürworten, hätte ich das nicht für möglich gehalten. Ich verstehe dass es den früher Friedensbewegten schwer fällt die Tatsachen anzuerkennen: “Man kann nicht in Frieden leben wenn es der Nachbar nicht will.” und Putin wird niemals wollen.

Eine Welt ohne Abschreckung, ohne Militär ist immer noch eine Utopie die man nicht aus den Augen verlieren darf, aber da wird man nicht hinkommen, wenn man gewalttätige Diktatoren gewähren lässt.

Der erneute Überfall auf die Ukraine nach der Krim, darf nicht zu einem anhaltenden Erfolg Russlands führen. Das ist die rote Linie die wir nicht erlauben können, wir = Deutschland, Europa, die Welt. Russland wird ansonsten die rote Linie immer weiter verschieben.

Der einzige Weg den ich sehe Russland zu stoppen ist diese Brücke zu zerstören. Die einzige Waffengattung die das endgültig erledigen kann, soweit ich das verstehe, ist Taurus. Ich sehe Scholz nein sagen, aber ich sehe keine Argumente die Bestand haben für dieses Nein. alles was ich sehe ist wie dieses Rumgeeier Zweifel in unsere Demokratie, unsere Wehrhaftigkeit weckt und bei vielen Menschen die Frage aufwirft “was wird uns nicht erzählt, dass er denkt er muss nein sagen”?

Je länger dieser Krieg dauert desto schneller geht der Ukraine die eine Ressource aus, die nicht ersetzt werden kann: Kämpfende und eine Bevölkerung im Ausnahmezustand die das weiter durchhalten kann. Russland ist willig und fähig Menschen zu verheizen in einer Weise wie es eine vernünftige Demokratie nicht kann. Wenn wir nicht Taurus schicken, schicken wir dann irgendwann Kämpfende? Geben wir einfach irgendwann auf, zucken die Achseln und schauen uns im Fernsehen die Siegesparade in Moskau an und klopfen den Geflüchteten in Deutschland auf die Schulter und dann nach mir die Sintflut? Warum sollte Putin mit dem Donbas zufrieden sein, oder überhaupt jemals mit irgendwas?

Wir müssen in Europa militärisch zusammen wachsen, wie sozial und wirtschaftlich. Wir müssen die Mauer sein die Putin und wer immer nachfolgen sollte, entgegen steht mit allen Mitteln und nicht nur halbherzig.

Ich will auch dass noch härter hingeschaut wird, wer Geschäfte mit Russland macht, speziell wenn ich nach Österreich schaue kriege ich einen Hass. Taurus ist in meinen Augen notwendig, der Meinung werde ich bleiben bis jemand ein echtes Argument bringt ausser Unwohlsein, aber verdammt wenn es nicht noch haufenweise andere Stellschrauben, speziell bei Geldflüssen, gibt die angegangen werden müssen.

Als ob jeder die Wahl hätte wo er wohnt oder als ob auf dem Land nur reiche Säcke wohnen. Was ist das für ein Haufen Vorurteile. Ich kenne einige Leute die liebend gerne aus ihrem “Landidyll” (für sie eher Landhorror) in die Stadt ziehen würden, was aber einfach nicht funktioniert und umgekehrt.

Hinzu kommt, dass es ländliche Gemeinden gibt bei denen das Internet besser funktioniert als bei mir in der Stadt.

Am Ende wird jeder Fall einzeln geprüft und weil wir die Einzelheiten nicht haben, kann von uns absolut keiner beurteilen was die Situation vor Ort war.

Tatsache ist, dass man die Infrastruktur den Privatunternehmen unter der Bedingung eine Grundversorgung überall zu gewährleisten überlassen hat und die haben das auch so akzeptiert und es einzuhalten. Fertig.

Es ist doch nun wirklich nicht so, dass diese Unternehmen am Hungertuch nagen oder so was.
