Gamings gotten pretty good with linux. I made the switcheroo when windows forced an update that undid a lot of my changes to windows AGAIN and I was like evwrytime they do this I have to take time to finish this and was pissed.
All games I play work on Linux no problem and all the games I’ve been interested since then have worked day 1; but of course I’ve always taken issue with games that have kernel level anticheats.
Fairly easy with something like lutris or the heroic game launcher if said games are on gig amazon gaming or epic
Yup company reminds me everytine I log into their computer its not for my personal use. Only personal stuff that gets done on it is checking my 401k contributions every so often

Yes I have a thinclient attached to my TV running linux mint
WiFi and Bluetooth yeah, if you run Linux mint setting up the proprietary drivers us literally like 2 buttons in the drivers menu
I have never had an issue on Linux mint that was not me fucking with the comabd line doing things it warned me I should not, or that wasn’t outright a hardware failure
Mint is also a really stable foundation and comes with cinnamon mh preferred desktop and goes hard right outside the box for me
Hand has time shift installed by default so I just have to remember to set it up on install

I personally landed on mint in its cinnamon flavor. It loosk great, is customizable l, click of a button to get nvidia card working and works just the way I want
