70dba is about what a vacuum cleaner puts out. I doubt anyone is actually bothered by the noise level considering it’s an outdoor sport unless their home literally shares a wall with the court.

To be mildly fair to Spotify Car Thing lasted for at least 3yrs. The worst part was, imo, it was really good. Like sure, my phone does voice commands but they work like 1/5 times. Car Thing worked nearly 100%, responded to anyone in the cars voice (pro/con depending on situation lol), and was a nice display for my preAndroidAuto headunit. Honestly I think the biggest mistake was that it was tied to a car, I used it on my desk for a while as a dedicated music control surface and it worked well. If more time went into making it just a universal Spotify controller it would have been much better as a thing. Have it mounted next to your receiver, or slap a battery in it and put it on a coffee table during a party and that would have been cool AF and requires zero phone interactions.
Omg the McDonald’s Angus burgers were FIRE. I ate wayyyy too many of the Bacon and Cheese ones and occasionally the Mushroom. I even loved they got put in their boxes with the paper burger holders LIKE EVERY BURGER FUCKING SHOULD.
I can’t control it so it’s not a superpower, it’s random enforced focus
I call it catching the wave. You cant predict the wave and you have no idea if it will ever even happen. Sometimes just have to sit and wait for the motivation to complete tasks to hit, then ride it as long as I can until it tapers off again.
Roblox runs great on Linux, they just explicitly blocked it right?
Samsung has even cut most of the horseshit out. My S22 had like a few Samsung apps, they live in a folder and I never see them. But that is similar to all of the Apple apps you couldn’t remove either (don’t know if that’s changed, haven’t had an iPhone since the 4)
Yea, like that would ever in literally any possible incarnation of any possible existence where Apple is a thing happen. Totally.
Thor from PirateSoftware tells his channel mods to hand out 1-3hr bans like candy. They aren’t overly harsh, and sends the message that your actions are seen and being noted.
Some days I get ice cream from the small local dairy. Those are pretty much the good days.
Iirc he said he planned to ban imported electric cars, so Musk is free to gobble that tiny orange mushroom shaped dick. Need to go do a heroic dose of mushrooms and delete those neural connections now.
Al Frankens political career got fully William Wallaced in public view for nothing while Donny Two Scoops raised millions after becoming a convicted felon.
I hate this country most of the time these days.
It’s weirdly cyclical. I remember around when the original Dead Space came out (early iirc) they were acting pretty decently for EA.
Don’t forget you have to lift that bike like 4ft to get to the tailgate on newer trucks! Can’t imagine trying to load a four wheeler on a newer truck without like folding ramps at least 2x the length of the bed so it’s not a vertical fucking climb.
I went from years of Pixels to an S22Ultra. The only hard part was that the app drawer is paged instead of scrolling. I just ignore everything Samsung/Bixby and never see it. Seems fine 🤷♀️
I don’t know if CoS is tax exempt, TST is 100%. CoS may even disagree with being exempt, they are pretty contrarian seemingly as a founding principal (no shade, all respect).
“Think of how stupid the average person is, and realize half of them are stupider than that.”
Sounds similar to my experience, but I was told multiple times by my GP that it was really bad heart burn. He held that line for 8ish months until I had an attack so bad I drove myself to the ER at 2am (the morning they caught the Boston Marathon bombers, watching the coverage rocking in pain in an ER waiting room is a core memory now).
When I finally got seen I said I felt bad that it was just bad heart burn, so they gave me liquid pepcid and left me alone for 10 minutes. When they came back to check on me, I was obviously still in pain so they pressed around my abdomen and as soon as they hit the area near my gallbladder I almost jumped off the gurney.
30 minutes later I had an ultrasound, and I was extremely pregnant with gallstones and it was on the verge of rupturing. I was in surgery a couple hours later.
All of this to say, if you or anyone you know who had their gallbladder removed and are now having horrible GI issues (especially after first meal of the dag) talk to your GP about Cholestyramine. It’s for cholesterol, but it’s binds to and neutralizes stomach bile which is getting dumped into your upper intestine since there’s not the buffer of your gallbladder anymore. Utterly changed my life years after surgery, could finally go out to eat breakfast without worrying about shitting my pants. Ironically it was the doctor who misdiagnosed me who finally recommended it when I started seeing him again (moved away like 6mo after surgery, boomeranged back years later.
I have a friend who works in the R* office in Massachusetts. The whole fucking company sounds like an abject nightmare to work for. Between the Stasi-esque HR lady that wanders around making notes of who is at their desks, to the legions of indoctrinated kool-aid drinkers, onto the just bizarre behind the scenes decisions and poor management.
He’s been dreading this announcement for a while now, and it may just be the one thing that will rip the scales off the otherwise creepily loyal workers.
I posted this over on the site that shall not be named, but the WH GiftShop sent an email at 2:06 saying the VP pick is JD Vance:
