It really did have the perfect form. No other phone has really matched the feel really.

I have not heard that name in a long time. Throwback to the days of installing ROMs and rooting my Moto X. Felt like a good time for Android.
Neat, so yams in the US refer to a sweet potato? Slightly related, but can you also explain the difference between Ube and Taro? I’ve had this conversation with my friends as well.
It works fine in the browser, so I wonder what an app would achieve.
Thanks for this! Not sure why I never actually bothered to look into other kbin instances.
I wish kbin had other instances…
Easy to find a lot for Mastodon however. Is there a migration guide to transfer accounts somewhere?
MySpace…that’s a name I haven’t heard muttered in years…
Wow checking out the site now, Calckey/Firefish looks great. Is this meant to be another Fediverse replacement for Twitter?
Agreed. I think one of the main deciding factors starting out here was the availability of mobile apps. Seems Lemmy already has a handful while kbin only has the mobile web for now and an application is only in a closed beta at the moment.
Also on kbin.social here, but sometimes I feel like an outside observer when I see threads that are from lemmy. But that may just be a side effect of all the platforms being connected through the same software which is the Fediverse or ActivityPub.
I’m pretty sure AMAs in the past have introduced a lot of people to Reddit (Obama’s AMA comes to mind). Before that AMAs were fairly popular too amongst celebrities.
This is cool for transitioning and all, but here’s the thing: if we want to move away from Reddit, we shouldn’t be trying to replicate it IMO
They are planning to add it to Windows after all.
