And you need to work on your math comprehension. It would be clear to any who can understand basic arithmetic that lifetime healthcare costs in the US are far and away higher than emigration costs.

I like this one. Now we just gotta get everyone else on board with your definition!
I mean if they do I’m kinda jealous of their newfound ultrasonic hearing abilities
Poked through the site a bit and found the direct link to the Bat House Builder’s Handbook for anyone else interested!
The last one got me good lmao, I’m so curious, what’s her story?
Varys person to person, but for me I find that the idea of sex is really hot but the reality is just…not as exciting.
I mean netcode for pc-to-pc games at least isn’t really rocket science. I’m not as familiar with the crossplay aspect, but I’d hazard a guess that it is only difficult because console manufacturers have locked multiplayer networking behind their own subscription services. I can understand why they went the route they did, but maybe crossplay is overvalued if the cost is stuff like this.
Shoot Mycroft got shut down? I remember looking into it a bit ago and filing that away as a future project, rip. I know Homeassistant also has one now too
I haven’t used Ansible but it sounds pretty much like that, basically you write out all the packages you want in a config and it builds the system from that. Very nice in terms of stability and maintainability. I’m very much an amateur so I can’t say for sure but I think the unused package issue would still exist on nix.
I’m just getting started with nix, if I’m understanding it correctly I think that is kind of what nix package manager does? It keeps packages and their versions separate and doesn’t delete them, so that you can update some programs and their dependencies without breaking other programs that depend on other versions of those same dependencies. https://www.linux.com/news/nix-fixes-dependency-hell-all-linux-distributions/
Theres some tendency towards tribalism that is probably a human thing though right? Wasn’t that the main social unit for humans through prehistory?
I connected to mine via ADB over ssh to remove the stock launcher and install FLauncher. It kept trying to launch the google launcher anyways so I removed play services and some other stuff also and just replaced the stock youtube with some third party client. Its been working ok so far! Every so often it will boot to a black screen (I think it fails to start the launcher) but a reboot fixes that.
Worth noting that how we calculate inflation itself has changed significantly though. https://www.shadowstats.com/article/no-438-public-comment-on-inflation-measurement
Apparently the main reason we need modern dentistry now is because of the amount of sugar we consume. If you were eating the food and drinks of the time you’d probably be ok
I mean whether or not many people use it it’s still shitty
Is there any more in-depth analysis to show how many EVs would be needed to make this feasible, how this would work with time of day use of power from commutes vs generation from solar power, how long the grid could stay powered this way, impact on consumers range, etc? I think the concept seems simple at first but would it actually be resiliant relying on just EV batteries? A cloudy week could see everyone run out of power, for example.
IIRC Spax and GRK make torx multi-purpose fasteners that you can use for wood and metal
