Stroll’s gap to his teammate is as large as most of the rookies on the grid to their respective teammates. But yea, his dad owns the team…what can be done. Money is privilege.

Perez qualifying 9th in a RB on a track that is difficult to pass on. That RB should be on the podium every race.
In a clean race, that RB should be on the podium every time. Less than that is subpar.
Hope so. Lando has put in the work and deserves to drive a car capable of winning.
Agreed. A seat is better than no seat. But yea he’s definitely going to have to prove himself again.
Latifi and Mazepin were both pay drivers. Likely, sponsors and money were tied to their seats.
Good point. They swapped Gasly with Albon mid-season and that could have gone better. I’d still like to see Lawson get his shot at some point.
Tough call. The return of Danny Ric would make for great TV but deep down I think Lawson should get his shot.
Tough for Nyck but F1 is a ruthless sport. At 28, Nyck is a seasoned driver and has likely shown what he is capable of and is unlikely to develop much further. I don’t see a reason for keeping him in that seat any longer.
Hulk looks decent for having taken a few years off with only a few 1-off appearances in between. It’s only been 9 months or so for Danny and he’s probably done some significant sim work during that period for RB.
I’m optimistic. Maybe this time off is the reset he needed to get his form back.
Should consider switch to the RBPT PU. Ford is going to be the name plate sponsor in 2026(?), American team + ‘American’ PU.
A lot of the NOVEC line is/was manufactured in Belgium. That plant was shut down for several months because high levels of PFAS was found in the surrounding area.
They cleaned it up and restarted the plant, only to announce they’re exiting the business by 2025.
I agree that the regulatory issue was their main motivator for shutting down PFAS manufacturing. Their plants (like Belgium) probably require significant maintenance and improvements, meaning millions in CAPEX. Money they probably don’t want to spend on products that will be globally banned within the decade.
3M announced they were exiting this space, rightfully so and probably a decade late. But I’ve heard rumblings in the industry that the US Govt might require them to continue to produce these awful materials as they are used in defense-related applications. Hope that’s not the case and we can shutdown all other producers (Chemours/DuPont etc) as well.
I’d like to see Andretti get on the grid. Family team with a good history of racing with OEM backing. Not sure what else F1 could possibly be looking for…unless all they want is Saudi oil money.
I mean, what’s his goal next year? To win every race?
Also, speaks to the reliability of the Red Bull too. Can’t get those kind of results without a very reliable setup.
Miami and Canada separated the way they are just doesn’t make any sense.
I think it’s GP Name and then City. It’s just most races have the nation as the GP name.
They did Emilia Romagna for Imola. And 2x Monaco.
But weird nonetheless. I’d prefer the normal City, Country for all of them.
Are these the wheels with LED lights in them that got put off this season?
This is hilarious. Reddit resorting to bots…like a new twitch streamer trying to con their way to partner. What a sad, sad outcome for what was once a great website.
Between Reddit and Twitter I hope big tech begins to take notice and realize they don’t control as much as they think they do. They’re much easier to replace than they think, and ultimately they’re just ad companies.
