TBF, that’s how I robbed Chase Bank last week.

It’s the lead that makes it slightly sweet.
Naw dog. Nursing school is way more high stakes. You can get kicked out of the program for very little, it’s very high stakes. There are exams that you have to get 100% on or you’re out of the program. Iirc, you can get kicked out of the program for not being 15 minutes early too many times. Not for being late, for not being early. At least we compensate them with mediocre pay and shitty hours and horrible bosses upon graduation…
Don’t forget how the patient’s family treats nurses.
“I will if you take a dementia test…”
Reminds me of that subtle joke that I love but nobody else ever seems to get: Well, I defended my thesis in comparative literature, but it seems like he’s got a pretty healthy pulse to me…
I’ve been using it on Ubuntu 22.04 for almost 2 years. It started off rocky, with frequent restarts needed, maybe every week or two. It’s been pretty solid, though I did give up on using it for screen sharing and captures, which is unfortunate timing in today’s WFH world.
I live near Main Street USA, but not in Florida or Missouri.
“thumbscrew” is the search term you are looking for. 6-32 sounds right. https://a.co/d/9AvShgu
You say that, but after my last set of tuning my E3 Pro is a real workhorse! Give it another 4 years like I did. May also help to threaten it with replacement if it fs up ONE MORE TIME…
Ok. On the treadmill, at the gym.
I’ve watched it on YouTube, it’s pretty good. It starts “this is an impersonation of George Carlin”. Wonder if a court ruling would prevent human impersonation.
Because it’s too hard to crumple a sheet of paper into a cube.
I call her by her full name: Rosie the Roomba
Little known fact: he went by “Hot Rod”.
I often will do this. At the end of writing a comment I ask myself “is my desire to comment satisfied by writing this comment, is it more about me writing it than other people reading it, is the response to the comment more likely to bring bain than joy?” The answers often lead me to just closing the comment page rather than posting it, and I feel fine about that.
My pupper really hates boopers, it’s quite sad. She’ll turn her head when she sees one incoming.
ProTip: Mixing mortar will kill the drill fairly quickly, but slower than I expected. This is the non-brushless one for the record.
Also ProTip: You can often find them for $20 on ebay. $80 for the brushless, NIB.
Been a real workhorse.
All over the map, but ~7 years ago when I moved into my new house I bought a set of Porter Cable cordless 20V that has served me well. DeWalt table saw and drywall screw gun, Hitachi and Makita nail guns. Bosch router and sander. Old school Milwaukee sawzall. Old American made Craftsman socket set. Makita compressor.
The big issue with the PC is that they just don’t have a very big tool eco-system.
I got the Porter Cable because I previously had a small set of DeWalt tools and felt like I under utilized them over 20 years. So instead of going contractor grade I went more prosumer. In retrospect I wish I’d bought Milwaukee, because I’ve used the hell out of the PC, but they’ve served me well.
Apparently: Them playing our local city square, doing a terrible performance, acting like prima donnas, and then after inviting people to come see them at the merch booth after the show, then never showing up.
