  • I try to just do stuff I enjoy. I’m a football guy so Sunday is a great day for me this time of year. If I’m not doing that though, I’m spending time with my wife and daughter or tinkering with things that interest me like emulation.

Overall I make it my day and try not to worry about what is happening tomorrow. I will say the thing that really puts it into perspective for me is that I left a job earlier in the year that was unhealthy. I was working overnights and weekends. Sometimes I was only home 8 hours before I had to go back. I decided it was controlling too much of my life and I moved back to a regular Mon-Fri job. I’m so happy to have a regular schedule again and weekends to myself. I do my best to appreciate the time I have now.

  • I have also put on a little more weight and lift weights consistently. I would say that its mainly do to having a home gym and not having cardio equipment at the moment. I have been more lean in the past, but I was thinking about how I feel good right now with a little more weight. I think I’m at a better natural weight for my body. While I might like when I am more lean, I am still strong with all the weight lifting, and I’m not putting the same stress on my joints from running. Feels good

  • I’ve recently been buying a lot of blu rays and mp3’s so I own the media I like. I used to steam a lot with Spotify and Netflix and was very happy for a long time. Then Netflix did that password sharing garbage and I started just finding my shows online. I hate that there are so many streaming platforms as well so I would have to chase the movies I love to watch them again, because they would constantly get moved to different platforms. Then a few years ago I bought a used blu ray player and started picking up my favorite’s. The quality is fantastic and I don’t have to wait for buffering. Best part is whenever I want to watch again I can just pop it back in the player and it doesn’t cost me any more money than I did to watch it before.

The streaming age started out great, but I think physical media could make a serious comeback. Not like I care if it does come back though. I would rather keep getting my blu rays for a few bucks on eBay. I would hate if blu rays became like the retro gaming market where the price of old games can skyrocket
