Is it gnome 3 (shell)?
Is it gnome 3 (shell)?
Hellblade 2 is coming.
Edit: The atmosphere in the first 10-30 minutes of Hellblade is absolutely stunning. I haven’t played through it yet though. I think I’m afraid that it will be a disappointment and that the initial experience, which really is amazing, will be ruined.
Yeah encrypt it or at least put on a nsfw tag or something. Gosh. People flaunt their privates like it’s Onlyfans.
I’m very wary of installing more extensions since I heard how many lucrative requests extension devs get from third parties for allowing them to enshittify their software.
I fear that part of the reason is that it isn’t big enough yet for AstroTurf interest groups to care enough to invest into it. Although maybe AstroTurfing isn’t included in the enshittification label?
For social media to work in the future I think there needs to be additional safeguards that keep enshittification at bay. But picking them will be a delicate art.
Voting might ensure that the situation might not get worse. You need to change the voting system to actually make a meaningful difference.
Edit: wtf are the downvotes for?
The problem with these rage inducing subreddits is that they seldom seem to propose or encourage any solution or alternative. So it ends up becoming a kind of circle jerk of learned helplessness.
It seems like a common internet thing. Rage bait and learned helplessness. We learn to accept that there’s nothing to do because people and politicians are idiots because “look at all this stuff”.
And often this aligns with advertising tech because it makes us engaged and seeking comfort of continued scrolling when we get a steady stream of anxiety injections. It’s low key like an abusive relationship.
Shouldn’t the flag be revealed in the last pane for it to work?
More like content farming right?
What software stack do you use for this?
It’s just a reference to trade unions
I’m sure stranger things have happened in irl lore. Pirate Party (pp) comes to mind.
They’re happy most of the time.
Things that should be relatively non controversial:
There’s no simple solution.
Palestinian civilians is not equal to Hamas.
Hamas is a terror organisation
Israel army is currently exercising too much violence on Palestinians
Israel clearly has the military advantage.
More vague points:
That puts most of the responsibility of how the situation develops in Israel hands. They can’t change the minds of the Palestinians. But they have the power to minimise total harm. They should be able to keep a lower rate of casualties on the Palestinian side without significantly increasing casualties on the Israeli side? No?
Except it feels like when republicans gain power we move three steps closer to ww3.
Don’t bomb civilians. Don’t bomb Palestinians. Don’t bomb Israelis. Don’t kill children. Don’t kill. Don’t kidnap people.
Is that hard? I mean sure the world might be more complicated but regardless of that the above seems like a very consistent and simple starting point of an opinion? It seems easier to start with “don’t bomb people” as a starting point than “don’t bomb some people” as a starting point.
It’s an interesting point that would be nice to see addressed more in anti-superhero fiction, like The Boys. They addressed this problem to some extent with the Rorschach depiction in the Watchmen TV series.
Feels like Rick and Morty has had the same issue with people idolizing Rick. They have addressed it to some degree by showing how Rick’s bad qualities also make him miserable etc.
Only the super rich disagree with you.
After a bit of searching I think people generally mean gnome 3 when they say gnome and gnome 2 is now known as Mate.
