Covering sucks. Nursing is hot before you have to put a sweaty blanket on, babies want to make eye contact while they’re nursing because it’s about connection and not just nourishment and in my experience, once they’re old enough to grab the cover, they’ll just throw it off their face and expose your titty anyway.
As it turns out, having my tits out publicly didn’t lead to complete societal collapse, no matter how much I hoped it would.
Not to mention it’s another piece of fabric for the baby to get milk, spit and potentially vomit on…
The Spanish translation doesn’t make sense, seems to be made using the worst automated translator.
This is an old picture, so I’m assuming it was made when translations weren’t fantastic yet.
Google translate says “If you need mom to feed you please cover thank you”
If you’re going to use Google Translate, take the text it gives you and feed it back in to see if it translates back into English correctly.
Google did some creative rewriting and killed half the joke. It actually says something like: “If you need mom[,] feed yourself you must. Covering! Thank you!”
The original spanglish also has a spelling and grammar mistake: cubieta -> ‘cubierta’ (fem. part. form of “cubrirse”) which doesn’t fit at all here.
That baby’s face is hilarious. She’s like “Yo, where did mum go?”.
Object permanence takes time for babies to learn haha
I still haven’t. ADHD
Mama!!! Peekaboo is between two and two thirty right after this little piggy, please don’t mess with my schedule!
Who are these people who simultaneously care about titties and also want to see less of them?
We have that same blanket.
Do you use it the same way as in the pic? :D
That’s one lucky baby
So I got a few reports based on this.
In the interest of transparency - I’m leaving this up for now because it’s not illegal:
- Sexualising the baby would be considered rule-breaking and the comment removed, but that isn’t the case here
- Sexualising the act of breastfeeding (which some people think this comment does - but it’s not unanimous) is perhaps in poor taste, but not illegal in itself.
- Expressing a preference for, uh, certain physical traits is fine, although that may again be viewed as creepy by some people.
As mod, I’ll remove posts that are illegal, discriminatory or harassing, and this post doesn’t meet those criteria. Regardless, the downvotes here should be a signal that some people find this distasteful.
Feel free to upvote/downvote this post if you agree or disagree. The decision above was made based on my own evaluation, but I’ll use the vote spread on this comment as an indicator of whether the community prefers a stricter policy.
Bro, creepy, what the fuck
Oh please don’t get bent out over a tittie joke lol
Sexualising breastfeeding a baby is weird man
If that’s how you perceive the comment then you have your own problems to deal with. Peace ✌️
How else is the comment supposed to be perceived?
I thought it was funny, I saw it as: big boobs equals much milk. I normally don’t like to shame people for their sense of humor. Of course, there are some exceptions.
He’s jealous that the baby gets to suck on a titty. I don’t understand why some people have that fetish.
“this kid’s lucky to have a mother that’ll say ‘screw the rules, I need to take care of my kid’”
It could have had that meaning had Dr. Moose not elucidated that he had made a tittie joke.
