If you can’t see a bike coming at you in your own lane, you shouldn’t be behind the wheel…

I take it you’ve never had somebody jump out in front of you while driving. Come up with every reason to think that it’s the driver’s fault, but the car is doing what they’re supposed to be doing. All it takes is a split second for someone to make a stupid decision like this. If you’re going to rely on the car to see you, you’re in for a world of hurt like this guy. Don’t ever assume people can see you just because you think they should.

Lol, I was in the exact same situation just at night, with snow and an entire car instead of just a motorcycle suddenly overtaking the truck at 100 kph.

Even so I moved up to the line at the edge of the street and got out without a scratch (or a frontal crash at over 200 kph total). Luckily for me the street was barely wide enough to fit a truck and two cars next to each other, but I had like an inch to spare.

The motorcycle is 100% at fault, but any driver that isn’t a dimwit could have moved over 5 inches and avoided the accident. Check the damn video, there is half a car width of space available to evade and plenty of time to do so.
