It probably wasn’t that powertrain in the car for FP1. Usually the new engine makes in the car by FP3 or even quali. Even on normal weekends without a new engine, and especially later in the season, teams would run an “FP1 engine” on Friday to minimize mileage on a different engine for the more demanding circuits.

On F1TV they reported it was the new PU fitted but it could be wrong. I was very surprised to hear it, usually the wait till Saturday
I remember they mentioned kimi had the new Floor fitted on the car. I don’t remember them mentioning the PU
They did say that, and they corrected themselves after or at the end of FP1. Old floor and they were looking for deltas between lewis and kimi
